The project was to make a movie credit for the Australian comedy-drama film, ‘Dressmaker’, written and directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, based on the 2000 novel of the same name by Rosalie Ham. The film explores the themes of revenge and creativity in a tragic love story. The overall mood of the film is somewhat mysterious, a bit of tragic, sometimes bright, and visually pleasing.

Two birds are used as metaphors for the two main characters in love. And bright colours yet in the limited palette are used with various objects related to the film’s plot. Also, the vintage fabric patterns with bird and flower are used in the context of a film’s main theme, fashion.
